Czechoslovakia was created in 1918 after a revolution in Prague. The Czechs and the Slovaks united to form one country. That country split back into two countries on January 1, 1993. Idea: Children could make maps of the before, after, and next after for Czechoslovakia. They could research the reasons for the new split.
