World Orca Day is today! The day celebrates orcas and the oceans. Orcas, also called killer whales, can be found in all latitudes, including the tropics and the Arctic and Antarctic regions. Orcas live in complex groups based on matrilineage. They have excellent communication patterns, and they see and hear well underwater.
