He also announced that the third Sunday in July was National Ice Cream Day<\/em>. The average American eats almost five gallons of ice cream per year, and vanilla is still the most popular flavor.
\nNational Hot Dog Month<\/em><\/strong><\/span> celebrates one of America\u2019s favorite foods. More than 16 million hot dogs are eaten each year.
